It sits right at my above my belt, I am 6' feet tall so I can understand why it might fit short but the sleeves were long on me.... so I came to the conclusion that it's the style of the jacket long sleeves and a short body for layering. I also noticed that it has a big hand hole so that you can roll up the jean jacket onto your forearm for a different style. Props to Calvin on that one. Overall a great jacket I just don't know how I feel about it being short since I am a taller and wider guy
