原文：I was a little worried because previous reviews weren't great, but KEEN's have nearly always worked for me. I committed to a 4 day backpacking trip through some really rugged terrain (mountaineering really! I made it to the glaciers on Glacier Peak in WA), but my hiking shoes had seen better days.
I was nervous that my old shoes might fall apart, and nervous that new ones might turn my feet into hamburger. To test them out, I wore these shoes straight out of the box on a 11 mile round trip hike (culminating at a gorgeous lake after gaining 3000 ft of elevation in 3 miles) and they were great! 2 days later, I wore them into the wilderness through old growth forest, crossing tiny little streams, and into the barren and rocky terrain of the receeded glaciers on Glacier Peak. These hiking shoes are pretty close to a mid-boot, the tops of the shoes just touched my ankles. I did worry about that because I usually wear a more low cut shoe, but I was happy for the tiny bit of extra support and protection when the hike turned into more of a scramble on mountain goat trails! Couldn't be happier with this purchase; it was a great price too!

原文：I bought this on a warehouse deal which I know is a gamble. I've owned Keen hiking shoes 4 times and I like the way they fit my foot. They wear well, and have a comfortable toe box - usually. To find some in a warehouse deal is pretty rare, and I hoped it was just a return for the wrong size or s
omething. I put on the left shoe and it was absolute perfection! The fit, was so comfy, the toe box just right, everything perfect. The right foot fit well, until I tied it and there is some sort of seam disruption from the tongue across the metatarsal bone to the little toe. It is just enough of a wrinkle to cause discomfort after just a few minutes of wear. I know it's a sewing flaw, it can't be repaired, and since I only paid 24 dollars for these shoes, I'm not going to return them. I'm trying to adapt it somehow and make it work, but I'm disappointed. Hate to have to buy more shoes, but I may have to.

I had to go with another brand instead that fit more true to size. Keens are great, and I love their shoes, but this

原文：These fit much like Skechers brand. I normally wear an 8 and to be safe ordered size 8.5. They fit perfect, if only just a tad bit loose around the ankles. Might just be the pair that i received. I am still chalking this up to a win because they are super cute and make my feet feel comfy the entire

原文：I recently hiked Tuckermans Ravine at Pinkham Notch in New Hampshire White Mountains. My first real hike other than intermediate waking trails as I now view them. I was nervous that the shoes would bother my feet as they were by no means broken in however as it turned out my feet were the least of m
y worries. I had no problem navigating the 4 mile trail up the mountain in these hiking boots and while at the top was sure that I would be feeling the pain in my feet on the trek down. To my surprise my feet or toes never bothered me, my ankles felt secure, the boots stayed dry although were a bit slippery compared to those worm by my hiking partner. I can't wait to try them out again and am hoping for the same results at the end of my journey. I am normally a size 8 1/2 however per the reviews ordered a 9 and wore thick hiking socks and the fit was perfect.

原文：My first time buying Keen shoes and I will for sure be a repeat customer. I normally buy shoes in size 6.5 or 7 and got these in a 7 so I could wear thicker socks with them. I felt that they were a tad on the small side but they do still fit me and are comfortable. Next time I buy this brand I th
ink I'll try a 7.5. I mostly wear these while walking/hiking with my dogs and so far they are holding up really well. They seem a lot more durable than the sneakers I was wearing before.
