I ended up ordering some silicone earbud gels that fit over this shape of bud. They make the bids slightly larger, and the silicone grips my ear better.Sound quality is good - but I'm not a sound critic, so take that with a grain of salt. They are loud enough to hear over the drone of heavy machinery (please note that I am also wearing noise-canceling hearing protection). The low profile of these buds makes it comfortable to wear my earmuffs without crushing the buds into my ears.
