原文：A Fossil Townsman automatic watch is usually much more expensive than the listed price here on Amazon so I decided to get one. I payed 100 bucks on here while alot of sites listed it from 150 to 250 dollars. So I felt I did pretty well. I've owned alot of Fossil and Relic watches over the years and
this brand is usually my daily one due to the quality for the price and long warranty. To be fair, most automatic watches I've seen and used before are garbage unless you spend quite a bit of money on a good brand. I've only had two that have lasted over a few years and they were several hundred dollars. This one seems to be a good one and for about 1/3 or half the price. Plus Fossil has an 11 year warranty so you can't beat that unless you buy an Omega or Rolex styled/price watch. I decided to upload a few pictures of mine and added a leather band because I felt that it made it more casual and ready for every day use. Plus, it serves as an example to compare to some of the leather banded Townsman versions which are more expensive and a giant waste of money when you can adjust this version yourself. The stainless bracelet is somewhat difficult to replace but it just requires good lighting and patience. To remove, just pop up the watch pin out of place slightly while pulling the band tightly and then push it towards you while you have the watch flipped over. It's easier to remove a pin so that the bracelet isn't connected together first. All you need is a small flathead screwdriver (like from an eyeglass repair kit) and/or an ice pick tool. A wood awl could work in lieu of an ice pick. It's very easy once you look at the underside of the watch. Heck, you need the wood awl or ice pick to remove the watch band pins to adjust the bracelet size either way if you have decided to use the stainless steel bracelet it comes with or opt for a leather band. Anyways, about the watch itself... It's lightweight somewhat (but feels heavy enough to have that "solid" quality feel), it keeps good time so far, and has an beautiful blue tint to the glass. It's not overly noticeable to be distracting in direct light but enough to make it still look cool and different. The second hand sweeps very smoothly (not as smooth as a Rolex but still has that nice expensive vibe to it) and ticks nicely. The gears, wheels, cogs, and jewels are all visible with gold, silver, red, and blue colors. The entire back of the watch is completely visible (see images) so it looks really nice when wearing it and are very striking. All and all, it's a great watch so far and I'll update this post if something changes. I hope this helped someone make their next watch decision! Thank you and Fossil!
