原文：I bought this product after it was recommended by my brother. We both are of indian descent and both of us grow some pretty gnarly beards. I never really used a trimmer for my beard. I would simply let it grow and once it got too big, it would shave it off and start over. I prefer to have a beard at
all times because lets face it, beards are cool, and this norelco trimmer certainly makes that easier. The trimmer is very aesthetically pleasing. It comes with 2 different attachments (1 that is your basic solid piece that you see on all trimmers and another that has a small spring in it and contours to your face much better). The charge lasts for quite a while and the turbo button certainly helps for trimming down thicker beards. The vacuum also works quite well, but of course is not perfect. I still have a small amount of hair trimmings that fall around the sink, but the trimmer does appear to catch the majority of the trimmings which is nice. The cleaning is pretty easy as well with a light brush-off with the small included brush. Recently after using it for a couple months I realized that the part at the top that houses the blades can actually come off and I found that it was packed full of trimmings as well, so now i'll be sure to regularly take that off and clean it as well.The only issue I have come across with the trimmer is that the vacuum function means that there has to be a path for the hair to be suctioned in. That leads to a design annoyance in that the trimmer blades are difficult to use for trimming down to the skin because the vacuum shaft doesnt allow you to place the blades against the skin too easily. This also causes a problem when I am trimming my mustache. Because the blade is a little less than a centimeter from the end, my mustache always ends of having longer hair near the nose because the cutting surface cant reach there with my nose in the way and the added on centimeter or so that vacuum function adds in front of the blade. I know this sounds confusing so I have included a image I found of the trimmer on a quick google search that will hopefully explain what I am talking about (I would upload a picture of my own trimmer but I didn't bring it with me on this trip).Otherwise this product is great and it works really well. I'll just have to find another device to help make sure my mustache isn't so much thicker and longer than the rest of my beard.

原文：I purchased the Norelco QT4070 in February 2014 as a replacement for a failing Norelco QT4022, which was purchased in 2011. Shaving closely with a razor or electric shaver causes my skin to break out. I primarily use the QT4070 to maintain a 1 mm "designer stubble" look.The vacuum feature is
more than just a gimmick. Although it doesn't totally eliminate hair in your sink when shaving, it does dramatically reduce the amount. The battery lasts for over a month at a rate of 3 full face shaves per week. The unit charges quickly and has a useful digital battery indicator. The large plastic guard does make it challenging to trim directly under your nose and line up my sideburns, but it is doable by using the unit and specific angles. The one downside I found is that after about 4 months of use, the plastic vacuum container door latch broke. I contacted Philips and they replaced the unit. I am happy with the product and manufacturer's policies regarding their product. I'm confident that you will be happy with this product should you choose to purchase it.

原文：This is an excellent beard trimmer which works exactly as described but may have a design flaw. The door that collects the beard shavings is kept closed by a little plastic lip. After only 3 months of use twice per week, the plastic lip broke off and thus the door does not stay closed. So, I had to
put a rubber band around to keep it closed as per the picture.I called Philips and the customer rep said this should not happened and immediately agreed to send a replacement free of charge. This is terrific customer service! I may have a defective unit and will update after a few more months.6/23/15 UPDATE: The above was written in mid-March 2015 and the razor performed flawlessly for another 3 months. Last week, the little plastic lip on the door (that keeps the beard shavings) broke again! Given my previous experience, I have been very gentle with this unit and especially careful every time that I opened the door. So, I have to judge the unit unacceptable now, which is too bad as it is a great beard trimmer. But, it breaks every 3 months even with very light use!
