原文：They look nice but for some reason the right shoe was rubbing my Achilles tendon RAW. I always wear socks too, so it wasn't anything like that. It could have been a defect or something, perhaps a slightly harder texture on the right shoe on the upper back part that touches the Achilles tendon. Also,
the quality is less than I expected. They seem cheap. I paid $49.99 but they feel more like $29.99. I still like Clarks but this one was a miss for me.

原文：This is still one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.I had ordered the "Tobacco Oily" color ( e. - a tobacco with a slight reddish tint brown, as depicted in the Amazon page) shoe, but the "Tobacco" color (a dull disappointing straight up brown color) shoe was delivered
instead. Its an excellent if frail shoe and was too much of a hassle to return them over the color disappointment.I had owned a very similar Clark model, purchased approximately fifteen years ago in the Clark Boston store , which had the attractive tobacco oily color and was more substantially constructed. Ironically, despite its substantiality, my previous pair's rubber sole separated at the front when riding my bicycle as I put my foot down to come to a full stop. That had never happened to any shoe or sneaker I have owned while riding bikes over a life time. Nonetheless, all other things considered, it one is looking for an excellent inexpensive comfort shoe, this is it ... so long as you don't go bike riding or do any sports while wearing these.

原文：I don't recommend buying these shoes online. You will definitely want to try them on. I thought I would be ok ordering online, because I have a pair of Clarks now, and just ordered the same size. I was wrong. The size 12 was very tight, so I exchanged for a 13. Then I did a dumb thing. I opened the
box and threw all the packaging away without trying on the size 13. I have never had a size 13 be too small. When I decided to wear the shoes I couldn't believe how tight they were. I wore them anyway thinking they would stretch a little or break in. I was wrong, now I have a pair of shoes I can't wear or return.

原文：I've been wearing them for over a month now. The heel was very stiff initially, and tore up my Achilles pretty badly the first couple weeks. The weathered look draws eyes, I got some nice compliments at first. The shoes dont hold up well however, the shoe material stains much more easily than regula
r leather, the shoes have gotten noticeably darker at the front and there are white cracks starting to form. I dont see these shoes holding up for another couple months of frequent wear.If you plan to only wear these occasionally, go for it. But I bought these for daily wear to work and I am a bit disappointed.Cheap price, so you get what you pay for.
