There is an option to 'save settings' but it warns this will take 10 minutes. Seriously?The receiver also gets very hot (as compared to the slightly larger, 15 year old Denon it replaced). Bluetooth works for playing audio feed (e.g. from phone) but won't allow you to output audio (e.g. Bluetooth headphones).To me, one of the selling points was Audessey Silver vs Bronze on the cheaper Denon S720. Not sure silver is really worth the upgrade. It wants you to move the microphone to between 3 and 8 locations while it calibrates. When it's done, it seems to average the results to a single set of speaker distances and level adjustments. I'm not convinced this is really better than just placing the mic "in the middle" for one measurement. Certainly would be faster than 8 measurements.Latest firmware also appears to be buggy. Hopefully Denon will come up with another upgrade soon and fix these issues.Overall, with the heat this thing generates, I might be glad the X1300 has an extra year warranty over the S720 model. But for the money, the Denon S720 is worth considering over this model. Or possibly a different brand with more refined software.Updated 12/18/2016: I E-Mailed Denon's customer service on 11/28 about the FW issues I was having. Received a reply to my E-Mail on 12/18 that simply said to write back if I was still having problems. Yeah... let me get right on that so they can reply again in February? If you buy this unit, forget about tech support.Updated 2/8/2017: If you find the unit works perfectly for one type of audio (e.g. Netflix) but cuts in and out for another source (Amazon Prime videos while Dolby icon flashes on and off on front display), you need to unplug the unit from the wall to reset it. Simply powering on and off will not help. There has been no FW upgrade since I bought the unit 3 months ago. Would be really nice if Denon fixed a few bugs.Updated 3/23/2017: Finally a FW update from Denon. Installation took about 16 minutes which is still horribly slow but twice as fast as last upgrade. Not sure what has changed and haven't observed much difference except for one thing. When I power on my Samsung TV, I have just enough time to open Netflix before the Receiver forces my Sony Blu-Ray (plugged through receiver) to power up and become the active input. I then have to switch back to the TV and re-start Netflix. This didn't happen with the old FW.
