That said, I still have to put a lot of weight into the seat bottom to get the SuperCinch to click, but that's probably because I pre-snug the seat belts more than they recommend doing. I also like that it seems easier to keep the harness out of the way when I'm putting my infant in so there's less digging around under him to pull the straps out. The biggest downside is that it's incredibly heavy, but that's a problem for all carseats of this style. And I'm not wild about the location of the harness release button. It's set in so far that it's awkward, but not difficult, to reach. I'm satisfied with both seats, but if I was going to buy one of them again (which my husband forbids because we've already spent a fortune on car seats!) it would be the Marathon.
